Ragu

Ragu knows how hard it is for moms to get their kids to eat healthy and get their vegetables. Ragu has tried to make it easier on us moms by putting 2 full servings of vegetables in every 1/2 cup of  Ragu's Old World Style Traditional pasta sauce.  They are also giving us a place to dish on what really happens at dinner.  We all know the craziness that happens when it is 5:30pm and someone has to be at baseball practice, someone has to be at scout and let's not forget about dance practice. Oh and everyone is hungry.  Ragu has introduced Mom's The Word On Dinner. This is a place where moms can laugh, learn, and share what is really going on at dinner.

Ragú® is teaming up with some familiar faces, including some of the fabulous ladies of Momversation™, to bring moms together to share stories and tips, celebrate the small wins and laugh about situations that only other moms can relate to.  Each month, this online community will be tackling topics from how to deal with picky eaters, to getting them to eat their veggies to what's being discussed at the dinner table, with some tips from parenting expert and author, Dr. Michele Borba, and Registered Dietician, Dr. Felicia Stoler.

In addition to the ongoing fun and conversation, the Mom's the Word on Dinner community will feature videos, photos, polls, quizzes and dinner ideas with quick and easy recipes. This wouldn't be a true community without interaction and Ragú® wants to hear what happens at dinnertime in kitchens and homes across the country!  Moms can join the conversation and tell their story for a chance to be featured in a Ragú® ad in PEOPLE magazine at Facebook.com/ragusauce.

Disclosure: I was entered for a chance to win a Ragú® prize package in exchange for this post.  No monetary exchange took place.

Nutella

What can I say I had heard of Nutella but I had never really gone out of my way to try it.  I was given the opportunity to host a Nutella Party through MommyParties.  I started to tell the girls I work with that I was hosting a Nutella Party, and boy did they let me hear it. I had everyone begging for a chance to come. They had all thought that I must have been living under a rock. "You mean you have never tried it? Girl you are missing out!"  So needless to say I had no problem with coming up with guests to my party.... "Nutella oh I'll be there!"

So the night of the party I arrange all my gift bags Nutella and MommyParties provided me with a gift bag for each of my guest that included a travel mug, a spreader, a sample of Nutella, a coupon for Nutella, recipe cards and Nutella Fact sheets.  I received a large jar of Nutella to share with everyone at the party. The party was amazing and the Nutella was even better. Not only did I love the taste of Nutella, but my kids loved it too.  We have tried it on toast, bagels, english muffins, tortillas, crackers, and shortbread cookies.  We never use a lot it is suprising how the rich creamy flavor goes along way.  Everyone loved their gift bags and have given me updates on what they have used their Nutella on.  Nutella with its' creamy hazelnuts, hint of cocoa, and skim milk is so rich and decadent. It taste to good to be good for you.  My favorite moment came a couple of days later when my family was watching a rerun of one our favorite cooking shows to see the chef use Nutella and bacon to make a french toast dessert. My son who is the pickiest eater in my house went in the kitchen to recreate it. It was amazing now we are trying to see what other recipes we can come up with.   I no longer have to fight with the kids to eat breakfast.

Check out Nutella on their website http://www.nutellausa.com/ . They have a lot of interesting things on there including tips for moms. Don't forget to enter their sweepstakes while your there. Who wouldn't want to win a case of Nutella! They also have lots of great items in their boutique. I am already saving my gold seals for a couple of items.

Disclosure: I was provided a party pack for myself and ten guest by Nutella through MommyParties in exchange for this post. Any thoughts or opinions expressed our my own.
